About Me

I do not like writing, design or sharing personal information about myself. So naturally I created a web site all about me. The thing is, what happened to me when I started taking my mints was so incredible, I felt I needed to share it. So, I resolved to suck it up and tell my story.

I have spent the last 20 years working in information technology, first as an application developer and then a database administrator. This is a career I chose in no small part because it allowed me to basically work alone in a corner somewhere. I got started with my career a little later in life because it took me 12 years to get through college. It’s hard to go to class with severe social anxiety. It’s even harder when you don’t fit in the seat.

Late in 2019, I quit my day job to focus on the website full time. This was a shock to a lot of people including me but I had gotten about as far as I could go with this website working only part time.

It is very strange that I ended up starting a hemp based business. I have never used marijuana in my life. On my first day of high school, I met a guy who asked me if I wanted to smoke a joint and laughed himself silly when I told him I didn’t do that (he had never met anyone who hadn’t). He never did talk me into smoking pot but he did get me to cut Geometry and go the to video arcade many times. Luckily, Pythagoras doesn’t come up much in everyday conversation.

Before and Current Photos

Right before I started

This is me two weeks before I started taking the mints. It is the only photo I could find within 3 months of that date. I weighed about 370 pounds. I lost weight the year before on a diet and had been steadily putting it back on.

Where I was headed

This is me a few years before. Well over 400 pounds. This is where I was headed again when I decided to try using my mints to treat my anxiety.

Current Situation (December 2019)

This is me. 280 pounds, give or take. Still losing weight. No longer struggling with anxiety.
